Calexico: Silver Trees

Today Calexico posted "Silver Trees" from the upcoming Carried to Dust as a free download on the band's MySpace site. The record is out Sept. 9, and this is the first full preview the band is giving, though a couple of teaser video clips are also up. Taken together they form a curious look at Tucson, with a long panning shot of the Boneyard in one and various Downtown scenes giving way to Joey and John playing in the Taproom in the other.
